How do I book a family reunion?
How do I check-in? Do you have a front desk?
For reunions, retreats and other stays we offer self check-in! You will receive an email and/or text with your door code before check-in. Check-in time is any time after 3pm. We will also try to stop by sometime in the afternoon of your arrival to go over any questions you might have and also show you the hidden secret passageways in the lodge.
Can we come in earlier than the standard 3:00 PM check-in time?
We may be able to adjust our standard times with advance notice and an additional charge. There are times when an earlier check-in is possible. If there is a group checking out on the same day you arrive, this is NOT possible. You must email in advance for early check-in / late check-out. A $50 fee may apply.
Smoking Policy
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the lodge at all times. A $500 fine will be applied for smoking inside the lodge. Smoking is allowed outside of the lodge away from any open windows or doors with proper removal of butts.
Pet Policy
Pets are only allowed outdoors at LaBelle Lake. No animals inside the lodge. “Service animals” are allowed without a fee with proper documentation. Please pick up after your pet :)
Cancellation Policy
As a small resort, we depend greatly on pre-booked occupancy and need to stay as full as possible to keep our doors open. That being said, we understand that emergencies do occur and we try to do our to best err on the side of fairness and working things out. If you need to cancel or reschedule your stay, we have established a policy that we hope you too will find reasonable.
- 100% refund except the initial $2,500 deposit for any changes (cancellations or reschedules) made at least 4 months in advance. This deposit can be used for any events or stays you would like to book in the future.
- If you need to make changes within 4 months of your arrival date, we don’t have much time to find someone else to book the lodge for a wedding. We hope you understand that this puts us in a bit of a bind.
- What we offer in this scenario, is a 90% refund if we are able to book the lodge anytime up to your scheduled date of arrival. You are welcome to refer friends + family and we will be sure to welcome them with whatever seasonal promotion we have going on.
Noise Ordinance Policy
At LaBelle Lake during there can be no loud music outside after 10:00 PM (music can be on but turned down between 10pm & 11pm) and absolutely no music, cheering or yelling after 11:00 PM. If this ordinance is not followed law enforcement may be called and you will be charged a $500 fee.
What is stocked at the cabin and what should we bring for our stay?
We’ve got you covered! Our kitchen is fully stocked with plates, bowls, cups, utensils, and cookware including: crock pot, basic pots and pans, waffle iron, griddle, popcorn popper, blender, toaster, 2 keurigs with K-cups, coffee maker, hand mixer, mixing bowls, serving bowls, child booster chair and basic cleaning supplies. We also have essential spices, flour, sugar, canola oil, shortening and everything you need to clean up after your meals. The bedrooms all have bedding along and there are extra sets for our futons and air mattresses if needed. There is a pack-n-play on site.
There is hand soap, blow dryer and bar soap in each bathroom but be sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner.
Do you have a BBQ grill for our use?
Yes. We have a large gas grill for you to use, propane included.
Do you have wireless Internet?
Our WIFI is strongest in the main part of the lodge. Password for the internet is located in the lodge. It can be spotty sometimes, as the signal has a hard time traveling through the logs. Wifi extenders are located throughout the lodge.
Do you have television reception?
Yes we have Dish Network on the TV in the daylight basement as well as a TV in the tower at the top of the lodge.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards with a 3.5% fee, Venmo with a 2% fee or for no fee we accept cash and checks!
Do we have access to a laundry facility at the Lodge?
Yes, we have a washer & dryer on site along with detergent for you to use.
How long does it take to get from Salt Lake City, UT to LaBelle Lake? From Boise, ID? From Idaho Falls?
LaBelle Lake is approximately 3.5 hours from Salt Lake City, UT and 4 hours from Boise. We are about 20 minutes from Idaho Falls.
What is the weather like right now at LaBelle Lake?

Is LaBelle Lake open year round?
Yes! We are available for winter vacations and weddings as well as summer, fall, and spring. Connecting with friends and family is fabulous no matter what the season
What is the quality of drinking water at the LaBelle Lake?
LaBelle Lake is famous for incredible drinking water. Many people come with empty jugs to take it home with them. You are welcome to bring reusable bottles and fill them with our wonderful spring well water.
How do I arrange for a tour of LaBelle Lake?
Send us an email and let's make an appointment for a tour! We will find a time when all of the facilities are available for you to see. Please do not “drop by” without notice, as the lodge may be booked with other guests or staff may not be on site.
Do you have a prep kitchen?
Yes, we have a kitchen inside the lodge that has a dishwasher, 2 refrigerators, double ovens, cook top, and a deep freezer.
